Classic 26's Bee Haydu

Bee Haydu is one busy woman! Just a week ago she was racing in the Air Race Classic as part of  Classic 26. This week she was in Washington, D.C. meeting with President Obama. President Obama was signing the bill that awards the Congressional Gold Medal to the WASP. These women are quite amazing and it's great to see them get the recognition they've long deserved.

Congratulations to Bee Haydu and all the other WASP that did so much for our country. Women like you are one of the many reasons we continue the women's air racing tradition. Read more about the WASP achievement.

Hello to all of our fellow racers (and now FRIENDS!!!!!!) We may not have won the Medal for the 2009 Air Race Classic but we did get the Congressional Gold Medal of Honor!!!!! Our Mission in this race was to raise awareness of the WASPs and their service to our County during WWII. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!!!!!!!
